Catching up

So I have a lot of catching up to do. So many activities have happened in the last couple months and I've got a million pictures! Here are a few fun ones.

My mom and my sisters and I recently decided to clean out the shed and we came across my mothers wedding dress. It took a little bit of convincing, but I finally was able to get Erin into the dress for "her children's sake." Brooke was a bit easier.

One of the few of Erin with a normal face on!

A couple of months ago I taught my nieces how to use my camera. When I brought it to my mother-in-laws birthday party, they snatched it right up.

I'm always so surprised at the results. They are getting good at focusing!

We all tend to amuse the girls with faces as they take pictures of us. There were lots of Aunt Laura and Mommy!

In May we had some awesome storms that made for some pretty awesome skies. :)

Brian got all fancy with the bread one day.

For Mother's Day we all got together and hung out.

Memorial Day was lots of fun spent with family. We had a BBQ, went up to see Grandpa's grave and celebrated Michael's 20th birthday! We were lucky to have him home from his mission for a short visit because he had a tumor in his foot that caused a fracture. It wasn't so lucky for him.

We played badminton and took lots of branches and leaves off the trees. My mom got stuck cleaning it up!

Kevin graduated in May and was very excited to enter the "real world." We went out to dinner as a family to celebrate.

I hate this picture of me, but I liked it of Kevin, so you get to see it.

I met superman at a fair for work.
One of the Russell girls got married so I got to hang out with my other family. I've missed my Russell siblings! All 7 of them!

Brian really doesn't care for pictures. Can you tell?
The classic MEchols look!
We went to our traditional Last Day of School Breakfast at Denny's.

My dad taught the kids how to change a tire. Erin got hands on experience.

Brian nearly cut his finger off at work. You could see all the way to the bone. I call it his Frankenfinger. His scar is pretty nasty.

Hillarie, Mary and I went dress shopping to try on all the prom dresses! We found some pretty awesome ones and had a blast!

My favorite dress I tried on. It made me feel like a Greek Goddess.
I babysat our nieces for a couple weeks while their sitter was out. We had so much fun playing and being silly.

We've had a fun year so far and there is still lots more to come!
