Adventure, Mystery, and Spys

Day 14: A TV show you are currently addicted to. This is easy. White Collar. I had a friend recommend it to me and I'm only in the first season, but I'm loving it. For some reason, shows that involve cops and crime just seem to reel me in. I get hooked, easily.

Bring on the Tunes!

Day 13: Your favorite musician and why. This is yet another tough one! I love music. I love all kinds of music. But if I had to choose one artist to listen to, I would probably choose Kalai. He's got his own style. It's kinda folkish, kinda worldish, kinda different. I just happen to love it. My favorite song? Strong Ties. Or given another choice, I would choose Kansas. Who doesn't love them?

Home

Day 12: A photo of the town you live in. I love this picture. There is just something about the mountains that makes me feel so comfortable. I'm lucky enough to live in South Jordan. A town that is surrounded by gorgeous mountains.

Makeup?

Day 11: What's in your make up bag. Two words. MARY KAY! I love it. Not that I wear makup all the time, but Mary Kay is awesome for when I do. And the skin care is absolutely amazing. Just in case you were wondering. :)

I like food. I like food a lot.

Day 10: A Photo of your favorite place to eat. I had issues with this one. If the question had been more specific, like your favorite non-chain place to eat, or your favorite Italian place to eat or the place that makes the most delicious appetizer ever, it would have been much simpler. I like to eat. I love to eat. I pretty much love most restaurants. So I went with a classic steak house. And it's not unique since it's a chain, in fact, most people have probably eaten here, but Texas Roadhouse is always up there on my top places to eat.

Bring on the steaks and the strawberry lemonades. Oh and I love me some loaded mashed potatoes... in fact I crave their loaded mashed potatoes quite often. They also have fantastic potato skins, and fried onion strings. And I love that they bring the most gorgeous rolls to your table and KEEP bringing you gorgeous rolls throughout your entire dinner. They always get my order just right. It makes me feel like Goldilocks. I even need a nap afterwards. This is one place you can't go to if you are on a diet, though. Absolutely everything is smothered in buttery deliciousness. What more could a girl who loves to eat ask for?

Shopping?

Day 9: A photo of something you last purchased.... Starburst Summer Fun Fruits!!!

These are fantastic! I bought some for Brian's Easter basket this year and he fell in love, so when I saw another bag at the store this week I picked some up. Turns out I love them too. :)

Sunshine in my soul

Day 8: A song to match your mood. I love the sun. I love the warmth and the life that it gives. There is nothing better than taking a walk in the sunshine and feeling it fall upon your face. The winters are hard because I don't get to see the sunshine that much. I'm so glad that it's spring and that the sun is FINALLY coming out! The song I think of when I'm having a rather glum day or just need a pick me up, is Ian Axels song titled Pacific Sun. Here are the lyrics.

Pacific Sun

You changed the color of my skin

From up above

Lift up my heart and let me in

Lay me down

I was lost without you

Under the sea

The fishes kissing at my toes

Of all I see

You are the one I would like to know

Lay me down

I was lost without you

Pacific Sun

You changed the color of my skin

From up above

Lift up my heart and let me in

Lay me down

I was lost without you

Our Wedding

Day 7: Your Dream Wedding. I'm changing this one up because we're already married and I pretty much had my dream wedding. Lots of food, friends, family, and of course, the chance to be with my husband for both time, and all of eternity. What else do you really need at a wedding? It doesn't have to be fancy, or expensive, or exotic. It's all about the union between two people. This is ours.We were married in the Mount Timpanogos Temple on May 24, 2008. We were sealed together for time and all eternity. Greatest feeling ever. We were greeted by a mob of family and friends.

The Bodily/Echols family, aka Jen's family.

The Torres/Bodell family, aka, Brian's family.

A few of our friends.

Our fantastic parents!

Our immediate Bodell side.

Our immediate Echols side.

The Loganites.

To Brian, thanks for making me laugh and making each day we spend together special. I really did marry my best friend. You are such a blessing to me. Our baby will be lucky to have you as his father. I love you!
