Washington Part2

We had such an amazing trip! Thanks to Brian's parents for letting us make a disaster out of your living room and for putting up with late night freak outs. They were champs. Dace did fantastic for never having been in a car for longer than 45 minutes and Brian managed to drive through the night, not once, but twice and even let me take little cat naps along the way. I'm so glad we got to spend time together as our little family and watch Dace experience things for the first time. I love watching him grow, even though it is happening way too fast. He's such a little boy and no longer a baby. He has a unique personality and he lights up anytime there is something new to try. These are the moments that I never want to forget.
Our little family down by the ocean.

It totally looks like Dace has a bald spot, but this picture shows how fascinated he is when it comes to watching any kind of fish!

Dace grabbed the bird... That's right, he GRABBED THE BIRD! I can't believe I got the picture. I had no problem getting the bird the jump on my hand and Dace got way into it!

Trying some of Paca's mint ice cream. A couple weeks before his first birthday, but oh well.

Brian playing with the otters.

Polar bears are my favorite. I was so excited to see them!

Dace playing in a giant birds nest. He loved it!

This boy makes friends wherever he goes!

Paca and Grandmas TV is right at his level. Guess who couldn't keep his hands off of it?

We went to the Pacific Science Center. Dace had a lot of fun exploring.

The moment we walked in to the dinosaur room, Dace started pointing and talking to us. He kept trying to turn around to look at everything he could. I had no idea he like dinosaurs so much!

Another car makes for a happy little boy!

Butterflies were everywhere in the butterfly room! Dace kept trying to grab them. We really had to watch him.

He loved touching the rock!

We had to drag him away!

The Seattle Space Needle.

Dace finally trying to look up at it.

Pikes Place. Love the atmosphere here!
